How to register
U5 Program
New this season WKMHA will run a U5 Program. This program will have 18 skates starting in mid October and ending at the end of February. Schedule will be available closer to the season start once ice availability is known. All players will be new to WKMHA and will need to please visit the New and Transferring Players Page on our website.
Co-ed Recreation Teams ( U7 -U18 )
All Returning players who are registering for WKMHA for Recreation please use the "Click Here to Register Button" to Register your child within WKMHA. Any New or transferring players, please visit the New and Transferring Players Page on our website.
Female Recreation Teams ( U9 & U11 & U15/U18)
WKMHA is planned to execute 2 Recreation Female teams for the 2025-2026 season. U9 Female and U11 Female.
U9 Female will play against co-ed teams. U11 Female will play within the OMAHA U11 Female Recreation League.
WKMHA has just launched a U15/U18 recreation registration to see interest for this age group. Please register as soon as you are able to see if we can have interest within WKMHA for next season.
All Returning players who are registering for WKMHA for Recreation please use the "Click Here to Register" Button to Register your child within WKMHA. Any New or transferring players please visit the New and Transferring Players Page on our website.
U11 Development
All players who want to try out for U11 Development will register through WKMHA. Select " U11 Player or U11 Goalie" in the registration process and then there will be a spot to add the Tryout Fee if your child will be registering for U11 Dev Tryouts on the form. This is the same as previous years.
U13 Female A
All players who want to tryout for the U13 Female A will register through WKMHA. Select " U13 Female A or U13 Female A Goalie" in the registration process. Players from neighbouring South Zone Associations will have to complete a "Permission to Tryout Form" and send to admin@westkelownaminorhockey.com in order to be eligible for tryouts and signing up.
U13 Tier 1
All players who want to try out for the U13 Tier 1 zone team will sign up with the host Association PMHA. Please watch their website for information: https://www.pentictonminorhockey.com/registration
Any WKMHA player signing up for U13 Tier 1 tryouts must get the "Permission to Tryout Form" signed by WKMHA and send to PMHA. Please email admin@westkelownaminorhockey.com. Please note you will also need to sign up for U13 Tier 2,3,4 in the event you are released. Details in next section.

This is a separate tryout from the Tier 1 zone tryout with a separate try out fee required. To be included in the Upper South Zone U13 Tier 2,3,4 tryouts you must register for these tryouts through OMAHA.
- You must register through WKMHA and select U13. This will be your base fee only. There is no tryout fee attached to this registration because the tryout fee will be paid on the next step through OMAHA.
- You must register for the Upper South U13 Tier 2,3,4 tryouts through OMAHA and pay the tryout fee there : https://omahahockey.ca/upper-south/
U15 Tier 2 & 4
To be included in the Upper South Zone U15 Tier 2 & 4 tryouts, you must register for these tryouts through OMAHA.
- You must register through WKMHA and select U15. This will be your base fee only. There is no tryout fee attached to this registration because the tryout fee will be paid on the next step through OMAHA.
- You must register for the Upper South U15 Tier 2 & 4 tryouts through OMAHA and pay the tryout fee there : https://omahahockey.ca/upper-south/
U18 Tier 2 & 3
To be included in the Upper South Zone U18 Tier 2 & 3 tryouts, you must register for these tryouts through OMAHA.

All fees will be paid directly to OMAHA. To register for the tryouts please go to the Zone Registration page on the OMAHA website : https://omahahockey.ca/
